I have worked with Joy in multiple capacities. I have both been supervisory and report to her and in both capacities she is wonderful to work with. When I supervised her, she asked excellent questions, communicated clearly with both me and the students she was advising, and was able to follow and lead in the same instance. She provided excellent explanations to the students and got them through their projects while following my lesson plan, which wasn't easy. She managed 10 groups of students working on different projects all at once while reporting progress to me. And all 10 groups presented fantastic projects due to her encouragement and support.
As part of the organization she runs, I work for her, providing my volunteer services and she has always explained things to me clearly and timely so that I was able to carry out my tasks well.
